Every student in Grades 1–12 can take part. Register for the level that matches your child’s grade at the time of the competition.

Match your child’s current grade to a level, Pre-A through E.

Register online
Complete the entry on the China registration platform and choose English or Chinese papers.

Pay the entry fee
One fee covers the paper, marking, certificate and preparation materials.

Confirm & sit the exam
Receive your confirmation and materials, then sit the paper on competition day.

Questions about entering
When does registration close?
Entries for the 2026 China-region competition close on Monday 28 September 2026. The exam is held on Sunday 11 October 2026.
Which level should my child enter?
Register for the level matching your child’s grade: Pre-A (Grades 1–2), A (3–5), B (6–7), C (8–9), D (10–11) or E (Grade 12). Ask an adviser →
Can we register an individual student, not a whole school?
Yes — both schools and individual candidates can enter through the China registration platform. Get in touch and we’ll guide you through it.
English or Chinese paper?
You choose at registration. Every level is available in both languages, with identical questions.
What does the fee include?
The paper, invigilation and marking, a certificate for every entrant, and access to past papers and preparation materials. The 2026 fee is confirmed at registration.
Can we get a refund?
Cancellations before the entry deadline are refunded with a 25% administration deduction. No refund is available after the deadline has passed.
